I am writing a book and doing my research. My main character is Irish and I would like her name to be Irish and mean passionate, fiery, etc. Any suggestions would be great. I found Aideen but that name doesn't fit because the last name will be Murphy. Thank you. :)|||Why not Bridget? In Mythology, she was the Goddess of Fire, Wisdom, and Poetry (sounds pretty passionate to me!)|||How about Neila, pronounced "nee la" and it means "female champion"
Neila Murphy has a nice ring to it, I think.
